A Great Begining
Our first day of school opened with 101 students eager to learn and looking very professional.

As is our tradition, every member of the Hope Hall community – students, teachers, and staff, thought about one thing they can’t do. We each wrote an “I can’t” statement on a piece of paper and then at 2:00 PM we had a special ceremony. These papers were dropped in a large hole and buried. On top of them, we planted various colored mums for blooming in the fall. These small plants grow and beautify our world. Our students know that each of them is now in a school designed especially to meet their needs and help them to overcome their “I can’t.” With the right teaching strategies and enough time, each of them will grow to be capable and competent learners who can accomplish great things.

After the “I can’t” statements were buried, we had a party with popsicles for everyone.

Path to Hope Bricks Still Available!
On Sunday, September 10, the Board of Trustees hosted a dedication ceremony of our Path to Hope. More than 150 people attended the ceremony.

Dorothy Pecoraro, Board President, thanked those who purchased bricks because each brick helps to pay our 2nd mortgage. Sr. Diana blessed the bricks and prayed for each one named on the bricks, as well as for the donors.

We still have 1000 bricks without names. If you’d like to purchase one in honor or in memory of someone, or as a wedding, anniversary, or birthday gift, please call Linda Foster at 426-5824. We’ll continue installing newly engraved bricks until the path is filled.
